By paying my dues to MO Wedding Connection, I agree to follow and abide by the Code of Ethics below.  MO Wedding Connection LLC hereby reserves the right to remove any vendor from its vendor rolls for the failure to abide by any rules, codes or customs established by MO Wedding Connection.

MO Wedding Connection LLC Code of Ethics and Guidelines Vendors: are open to wedding industry professionals and companies who have a major business presence in Mid Missouri Area. MO Wedding Connection LLC (WC) and its Vendors are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing professional service. Wedding professionals throughout the area have joined together to strengthen the industry with enhanced educational opportunities, cooperative marketing efforts, and increased media attention to the diverse professional services available for soon-to-be-married couples or like service. Purpose: Vendors in the Wedding business joining together to form an organization, to promote the Wedding Industry. This organization may have information and promotions to help others planning weddings or like functions. Business information and promotions shall be used for education to the general public and may be used for courtesy referrals. CODE of ETHICS: You must adhere to the Code of Ethics, which guides the business practices of all Vendors and helps ensure adherence to the principles upon which the WC is based. It is understood that you are familiar with its contents and will uphold each pledge it contains. You acknowledge that as a Vendor you may be terminated without refund should the WC determine in its sole discretion that you have violated any aspect of the Code. The WC will always seek to address any such matters directly with You in order to have full information before a termination hearing occurs. Wedding Connection and its Vendors acknowledge the need to preserve and encourage fair and equitable business practices and, as a condition of a Wedding Connection Vendor, subscribe to a Code of Professional Ethics. I pledge myself to honesty and integrity; to pursue my profession and education so that service to my clients shall reflect the high standards and practices. I pledge myself to comply with the standards of WC and maintain association with fellow WC Vendors and with all others who may become a part of my business and professional life in an honorable and cooperative manner. I pledge myself to comply with the standards of WC. I pledge not to betray the trust my clients place in me and my colleagues as set forth in this Code of Professional Ethics: 1: I will accurately represent my qualifications and experience in all verbal and written communications. 2: I will act and speak professionally so as not to offend or bring discredit to the wedding services profession. 3: I will be committed to understanding my customer’s needs and goals in promotion of service and proposal. 4: I will share knowledge and professional experience with others. I will gladly answer questions about these things so that my client is comfortable with what has been ordered. 5: I will maintain the trust of clients and respect the affairs of clients and other WC Vendors who may share confidential information. 6: I will treat others in the wedding profession with professional courtesy and dignity. 7: I will provide services in those areas in which I am qualified to serve. When unable or unqualified to fulfill requests for services, I will make every effort to recommend the services of a qualified WC Vendor. 8: I will protect the public against fraud or unfair practices and shall attempt to disengage all practices which bring discredit to the profession. 9: I will not be party to agreements which unfairly limit or restrain access to the market place by any other wedding professional, client, or to the public, based upon race, creed, color, sex, age, physical disability or country of national origin. Vendors Terms & Conditions: These Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) constitute a legal agreement by and between Your Company (hereafter “You”, “Your” or “Your Company”) and the Wedding Connection and its subsidiaries. REQUIREMENTS FOR VENDORS: Complete and Submit Application to: Kathy Spry, 708 Sexton, Columbia, MO 65203 Vendors Application: By submitting the application, You certify to WC that the information contained in it is accurate and that You have the authority to bind Your Company to these Terms and Conditions. WC will respond to Vendors applicants ASAP. After notification of Vendors acceptance, You can use the benefits and services of the Association of which You are a Vendor. Meetings: Vendors are encouraged to attend meetings as well as participate in the WC sponsored Wedding Shows and other special events. The meetings are held at vendors businesses that have space and are interested in hosting the meeting. Hosting a meeting is a great way to introduce your business to other WC Vendors. Meetings are great networking opportunity. To host a meeting contact the officers. Communication: You must have and maintain a valid phone and or e-mail address to enable Your Company to communicate with the WC. (To keep the cost down) Dues and Fees: Vendors dues are $65.00 As a Vendor entitles your business to be included on the vendors list. If paying via PayPal, there will be an additional $2 fee. A Vendor shall pay a fee of $30 for any check presented for payment that is returned by the bank. Non refundable Vendors dues are based on the Wedding Connection fiscal year (April 1 to March 31). Upon joining a full year fee is required. Renewals will begin on the next fiscal year. A written cancellation must be submitted no less then 30 days in advance. MO Wedding Connection LLC cancellation policy and Refunds: To cancel with the WC, you must send a letter of cancellation and include the following information: 1. Your Name: 2. Company Name: 3. Flamingo Dr., Hallsville, MO 65255 All cancellations take effect 30 days from postmark date of the letter. There is no refund on Vendors dues. All Vendors are Yearly. Update Information: On the beginning of the new fiscal year, you must verify and update Your business information (including, but not limited to, business name, primary and secondary contact, job title, email address, business address (physical and mailing), postal code, telephone and fax number) that Your Company has on file with WC. PROGRAM BENEFITS AND SERVICES: From time to time, WC may offer benefits or services to Vendors. Benefits or services may be governed by separate guidelines, rules or other terms and conditions that will be provided with that offer. The guidelines, rules or terms and conditions for a particular benefit or service shall govern that particular benefit or service. 1. Vendors in the organization shall have equal rights. 2. To be Listed on the Vendors list 3. Revenue generated from promotions or like items shall be used to pay the expenses of running the organization. 4. All Vendors shall have the right to vote on issue effecting the association at large. 5. Networking with other Wedding Professionals, and More! Assignment: Vendors is not transferable or assignable Liability and Insurance: WC is not responsible or liable in any way for any injury to person or property, loss or damage of any kind, sustained by You, your employees or any other person by reason of fire, theft, water, accident or negligence of WC or any of its servants, agents or employees or any other cause whatsoever, except in cases of gross or sole negligence or willful misconduct. It is further understood that You will indemnify and hold harmless WC from damages, loss, cost or expense, including costs of defense and reasonable attorney fees of any and all kind arising out of sole or contributing negligence of You, your employees, servants or agents or WC or otherwise.
